Our worship services consist of both traditional and contemporary music.

Children, ages 3 years to 5th grade are dismissed for their own worship time prior to the morning message. A nursery with loving staff is available a short distance from the sanctuary.

Our Mission Statement

Loving God and Loving Others

Recognizing that our Biblical Purpose statement is Loving God and Loving Others, our commission comes from Jesus' words:

“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.” (Matthew 28:19)

With our own church members and in the community around us, Shore Church is committed to serving others in a way that points back to Jesus' love.

What We Believe

God

We believe in one God, creator of all things: the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

The Bible

We believe that the Bible is the Word of God given by divine inspiration. The Bible remains the unchanging authority in faith and practice, and therefore, is to be believed in all that it teaches, obeyed in all that it requires, and trusted in all that it promises.

Humanity

We believe that because of sin, humanity is separated from God and in need of salvation and restoration which comes only through Jesus Christ.

Salvation

We believe that salvation is a gracious gift from God. We believe that through the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, God offers salvation from sin and a restored relationship with our creator.

The Work of Jesus

We believe that Jesus Christ shed His blood on the cross as the perfect, all-sufficient sacrifice for our sins. His atoning death and victorious resurrection introduced the new covenant. Jesus heals, forgives, and delivers.

The Church

We believe that the Church is made up of all who are seeking a relationship with God through His grace and through faith alone in Jesus alone. The church is a community of believers sent into the world to proclaim the good news of Jesus Christ to all.

Jesus-Centered Living

We believe that Jesus Christ calls us to take up our cross and follow him. As followers of Jesus, we are empowered and filled with his Spirit. God commands us to live out our faith with care for one another, compassion towards the poor and justice for the oppressed. As we walk by faith in Christ’s way, we are being sanctified and transformed into his likeness.

Values and Identity Statements

Value: GRACE

We are people who receive God’s grace through Jesus.

“But we believe that we will be saved through the grace of the Lord Jesus, just as they will.” Acts 15:11

Value: LOVE

We are people who love God and love others.

“And he said to him, ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment. And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” Matthew 22:37-39

Value: BIBLICAL TRUTH

We are people who are led by biblical truth.

“All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.” II Timothy 3:16-17

Value: SPIRITUAL GROWTH

We are people who strive for spiritual growth for all generations.

“Like newborn infants, long for the pure spiritual milk, that by it you may grow up into salvation – if indeed you have tasted that the Lord is good.” I Peter 2:2-3

Value: RELATIONSHIPS

We are people who support each other through relationships.

“Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their toil. For if they fall, one will lift up his fellow. But woe to him who is alone when he falls and has not another to lift him up! Again, if two lie together, they keep warm, but how can one keep warm alone? And though a man might prevail against one who is alone, two will withstand him – a threefold cord is not quickly broken.” Ecclesiastes 4:9-12

(All scripture from ESV version.)
